Our Coverage Area

The First Hose Company (Engine 1) responds on a majority of the Box Alarms within the City of Hagerstown. This map shows our local (First Due) response area for fires, EMS and other emergency responses.

The area highlighted in RED is our main (First Due) Local Response Area in the heart of Downtown Hagerstown.

The area outlined in Blue shows our (Second Due) Response Area when other Hagerstown Fire Department engine companies are unavailable for a "Local" response.

This obviously does not show our Mutual-Aid Response area which could be anywhere in the City of Hagerstown, Washington County or other surrounding jurisdictions depending on the type and severity of the incident or at the Battalion commanders discretion.
